Top-notch stitching - smooth flatlock stitches avoided chafing, and there was nary a free thread in sight. And despite no marketed enhancing properties in the pouch, the close-fitting legs seemed to emphasize what was there by contrast. The waistband was not so close to the body as to leave a mark when we took it off, either. In fact, the tight cling of the legs and rear was a reassuring touch that made us more aware of our movements throughout the day. The mesh fabric used for the pouch allowed air to flow through and did not feel constricting at all. However, its four-way stretch fabrication let it move with our body as we moved. The Fit: Tight, almost a compression-type feel. The rear seams highlighted our curves, and the tense fabric didn’t bunch up at all after extended wear.
The legs, which at 6″ would normally be too long, actually seemed entirely appropriate in terms of proportioning. We found that the shininess of the polyester was a bit distracting for the overall look, but this, again, isn’t a pair of underwear designed to be seen on a runway. The lines are uncomplicated, the waistband bold and the mesh pouch is seamlessly integrated into the legs.
